Harry Styles and Gucci are facing backlash for a T-shirt and photos from the “As It Was” singer’s HA HA HA Gucci ad campaign.
in photos posted on the fashion house’s Instagram Last week, the 28-year-old, who has worked with Gucci for years, models a shirt with an angry-looking pink teddy bear on it while holding a child-size mattress and standing in front of her.
His shirt reads, “I want more strawberries and that summer feeling,” borrowing a line from the Grammy-winning 2019 song “Watermelon Sugar.”
Gucci photos coming just weeks later Balenciaga’s latest controversial campaign where children are depicted with BDSM-themed teddy bears. Another photo featured documents from a Supreme Court case that upheld part of federal child pornography law sitting under a handbag.

The post reached out to representatives of Styles and Gucci for comment.

Balenciaga faced a storm of criticism over his previous controversial ad campaign, and photographer Gabriele Galimberti, who shot the images, feared for life with death threats pouring in. Earlier this month, creative director of Balenciaga Demna Addresses the BDSM advertising scandal that blazed online with allegations of sexual fetishization and normalizing child abuse.
“I want to personally apologize and take my responsibility for choosing the wrong artistic concept for the giveaway campaign with children,” the 41-year-old wrote. “It was inappropriate for children to introduce objects that had nothing to do with them.
“While I sometimes want to provoke an opinion through my work, I would NEVER have the intention to do so with a horrific issue like child abuse that I detest. Point,” Demna continued, “I need to learn from it, listen to it, and engage child protection agencies to find out how I can contribute to and help with this dire issue.”
The fashion house has shot advertisements, apologized and promised internal and external investigation. same time filed a $25 million lawsuit against the producers of the ad this was later dropped.
